Overview
Strategic communication is a term used to describe the communication principles, strategies, and initiatives used to further an organization’s goals, mission, or values. It is a multidisciplinary professional field, drawing upon communication practices found in related disciplines, including public relations, mass communication, advertising, and organizational communication. Its theories and practices help leaders to plan, research, organize, and execute internal and external communication initiatives that align with their organization’s philosophy, values, vision and mission. Leaders with sound strategic communication skills are able to leader people more effectively and improve overall organisation’s performance. Upon the completion of this course, participants will be able to: 1. Able to recognise the importance of strategic communication in ensuring phisolophy, values, vision, mission and organizational goals are understood by their staff. 2. Develop a strong team members to deliver the organisational objectives and strategic goals. 3. Develop future leaders from within while retaining strong organisational values within them.
